Manchester City's Kolo Toure has spoken of his delight ahead of a possible return to action for team-mate Carlos Tevez. The 28 year-old striker has not featured since September following his infamous touchline row with manager Roberto Mancini in Munich.
The Premier League is now City's only aim after Thursday night's elimination from the Europa League, where Toure's side mounted a late fightback against Sporting Lisbon, but their 3-2 win was not enough as the Portuguese team went through on away goals. Tevez and Mancini have recently made peace and last season's top scorer could return in Wednesday's Premier League clash with Chelsea, something which Toure is eagerly anticipating.
He said: "Carlos is a great player and I can't wait to see him play in this team. "He's a fighter, he is a strong character and his quality is fantastic. For me, I can't wait." "In the first half it wasn't Man City," he added. "We didn't run, it was as simple as that, and when you don't run you can't win anything. "We don't want to lose the Premier League. It's going to be fantastic. This team will fight with all our power and give all we have." "The second half was much better and we need to play like that every game, for the whole game."
