Carlos Tevez: I'm in a great club

Carlos Tevez: I'm in a great club
Striker of Juventus Carlos Tevez after the away match with Lazio (3:0), in which he scored the second goal, agreed with the words of his compatriot Juan Sebastian Veron, who said that Carlos showed the best football of his career.
“I'm in a great club. I agree that now I’m showing the best football of my career. As for the Champions League, then the dream is not harmful. First we have to play with Malmo and then look at our situation. There is a need to act in the same way as in the match with Parma and Lazio, then it will be hard to lose” - said Tevez.
We would like to remind that the meeting of Juventus with Malmo will be held on November 26 in Sweden in the fifth game of the group round of the Champions League.

Roberto Mancini: “I am happy because Tevez did well”

City found themselves behind on the hour at the Etihad Stadium as Gary Cahill fired home a deflected effort. Roberto Mancini hailed Manchester City's win over Chelsea, and applauded Carlos Tevez's role in the success. But with 12-minutes left City were level as Sergio Aguero converted a penalty. The Italian insisted that City fully deserved their three points. Then Tevez, who had come on as a sub with City trailing, set-up the winner with five minutes remaining as he played a sublime ball through to Samir Nasri to finish.
"I am happy, I am happy because he did well - he is not in good form, I don't think his feet were 100 per cent but he knows football". "I think we deserved to win this game because we had three or four chances in first 20-minutes we missed, we have chances but we didn't score," he continued. "When they scored their goal, we didn't deserve to go down 1-0, but we wanted it and desired to win this game."I think we are back on track and this game is worth more than the points." "After their goal, I know what squeaky bum time is," he quipped. "We are there, we go to win at Stoke but we know that is not easy but we want this."

Kolo Toure: "Carlos is a great player and I can't wait to see him play in this team”

Manchester City's Kolo Toure has spoken of his delight ahead of a possible return to action for team-mate Carlos Tevez. The 28 year-old striker has not featured since September following his infamous touchline row with manager Roberto Mancini in Munich.
The Premier League is now City's only aim after Thursday night's elimination from the Europa League, where Toure's side mounted a late fightback against Sporting Lisbon, but their 3-2 win was not enough as the Portuguese team went through on away goals. Tevez and Mancini have recently made peace and last season's top scorer could return in Wednesday's Premier League clash with Chelsea, something which Toure is eagerly anticipating.
He said: "Carlos is a great player and I can't wait to see him play in this team. "He's a fighter, he is a strong character and his quality is fantastic. For me, I can't wait." "In the first half it wasn't Man City," he added. "We didn't run, it was as simple as that, and when you don't run you can't win anything. "We don't want to lose the Premier League. It's going to be fantastic. This team will fight with all our power and give all we have." "The second half was much better and we need to play like that every game, for the whole game."
