Daniele de Rossi: I was born in Rome, and I never wanted to play for another team

AS Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi said that was not going to leave the Club of Rome, despite the uneasy relationship with head coach Zdenek Zeman.

«I was born in Rome, and I never wanted to play for another team. I first came to Roma study centre when I was 12 years old. This is my home. I love this town and this club. I love everything here. It would be very hard to make some changes in your life. I wanted to stay here,» - De Rossi said.

Carlo Ancelotti: De Rossi have never been our primary goal

Coach of Paris Saint-Germain Carlo Ancelotti denies reports that the Club intends to purchase from Italian as Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi, who had formed a relationship with Roma's head coach Zdenek Zeman.

«De Rossi have never been our primary goal. We never thought about buying De Rossi, I don't know who came up with it. Javier was a good start to the season, but then it slowed down dramatically. Nevertheless, we are looking forward to it.» - Ancelotti said.

The Italian also commented on the rumours about a possible move of the Argentinian midfielder Javier Pastore in Inter.

The specialist said that the Paris Club would part ways with several players in order to reduce the number of players in the first team with 29 to 25.

Zeman: I'm happy for the guys

AS Roma coach Zdenek Zeman said their victory over Palermo in the match 11-th round of the Championship of Italy, noting improvements in the game.

«Always after the victories you can talk about what the team has improved its level compared with the previous matches. AS Roma played well before, but only at times. Against Palermo we spent the whole match. I'm happy for the guys and hope they will continue to believe that we can show a football,» - said the specialist.
